Product Introduction / INTRODUCTION
The electromagnetic flowmeter complies with the standard JB/T9248-2015 "Electromagnetic Flowmeter" and is an inductive instrument for measuring the volumetric flow of conductive media. While providing on-site monitoring and display, it can output standard current signals for recording, regulation, and control, enabling automated detection and control, as well as remote signal transmission. It is widely used in industries such as water supply, chemical, coal, environmental protection, light textile, metallurgy, and papermaking for flow measurement of conductive liquids. It has obtained the explosion-proof certification issued by the National Quality Inspection Center for Explosion-proof Electrical Products, with the explosion-proof mark EXD11CT6, suitable for liquid measurement in various ** environments.
Working Principle / WORKING PRINCIPLE
Based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, a pair of detection electrodes are installed on the pipe wall perpendicular to the measuring tube axis and the magnetic field lines. When conductive liquid flows along the measuring tube axis, it cuts the magnetic field lines, generating an induced potential. This induced potential is detected by the two electrodes, and its magnitude is proportional to the flow rate, given by:

K-Coefficient related to magnetic field distribution and axial length;
B-Magnetic induction intensity;
V-Average flow velocity of conductive liquid;
D-Electrode spacing (internal diameter of the measuring tube)
The sensor transmits the induced potential E as a flow signal to the converter, which, after amplification, transformation, filtering, and a series of digital processing, displays the instantaneous flow and cumulative flow on a backlit dot-matrix LCD. The converter provides 4–20mA output, ** output, and frequency output, and is equipped with communication interfaces such as RS-485, supporting HART and MODBUS protocols.

Installation Precautions/ INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
1、Install in a location free from vibration and strong electromagnetic fields (e.g., away from large motors and frequency converters);
2、Preferably install vertically; if installing horizontally, place at a low point, not at the pipeline's highest point, to ensure full pipe and prevent air bubbles;
3、Straight pipe requirements: ideally, ensure 10 times the pipe diameter upstream and 5 times downstream;
4、When installing welded types, avoid welding while connected to the instrument to prevent damage to the flowmeter;
5、Ground the外壳 as much as possible; shield wires should be grounded at one end, and the grounding point should not be shared with strong electrical systems;
6、For easy maintenance, choose an installation location that meets maintenance requirements. Additionally, install a bypass pipe so fluid can flow through it during faults;
7、Avoid direct sunlight and high-temperature areas; ensure waterproof and moisture-proof treatment;
8、Other considerations: signal wiring should not run alongside strong electrical lines.
